The Norwegian indie band, Bats of Congress, combines the rawness of the wild 60´s with the Scandinavian noir sound giving the band its distinct nostalgic vibe. Fronted by Tone, a blend of vintage Italian glamour mixed with rock´ n roll icons of our generation, the band impresses with striking stage performances, setting them apart from other musicians in their genre – pop noir, and into the domain of stars like Gin Wigmore, Siouxsie, and the Banshees, and Nick Cave. Est. in 2015 the band released their first single “Pictures of Me and You” followed by three more singles witch all ended up on the EP “Single Collections” and lead the way to the band’s debut album “Storm”, released in March 2020.
The fall of 2023 Bats of Congress released an EP "Days of gold" in the midst of their fall tour, before warming up for the legendary ZOO at Rockefeller. BOC is currently working on new material and all the bats are excited to keep providing pop-noir from the North to the world!
